Materials
Pumpkins of various sizes, real or fake (applying the tattoos was easy on both)
Temporary tattoos, I found mine here
Acrylic paint for stems (optional)
Damp washcloth
Basic Idea
Make sure your pumpkin is clean and as smooth as possible.
Pull the clear sheet off of the tattoo and place it design side down onto the pumpkin.
Carefully hold it in place and gently place the damp washcloth over the entire image.
Smooth it out carefully over the pumpkins and hold it in place at least 30 seconds. I thought the curves on the pumpkins would be an issue, but once you put the washcloth on the design, it molds to the pumpkin shape.
Remove washcloth and carefully peel up paper layer from image. There might be a few spots with an air bubble or a place where it didn’t stick. Simply rub them out with your finger. Let dry a few minutes.
You guys, that’s it! It’s the simplest pumpkin project I’ve done in a while and it felt fantastic!
