But I’m keeping today’s project simple. Painting is one of my favorite ways to decorate them–and it’s a wonderful alternative to carving. I love white pumpkins (who doesn’t?), and I decided to go for a glam black and white theme. These pumpkins are pretty and sophisticated—I think they would look great as a table centerpiece! I styled a few with napkins from Target and they’re definitely on trend!

DIY Moving Announcements
Today I’m sharing a tutorial for DIY moving announcements for my friend who is movin’ on up to a larger apartment across town. She has a sophisticated but casual style and I really wanted to reflect that in her design. All of the paper I used is from JAM Paper. They have lots of fun office supplies and a HUGE paper selection and–note to self–they offer high quality colored paper in larger sizes such as legal, 11″ x 17″, and 12.5″ x 18″, which can be really hard to find.
Overview
- Color palette: kraft, bright white, aqua
- Card/envelope size: A6
- 3 layers: bottom-aqua, middle-kraft, top-white
- Details: corners, liners, polka dots

DIY Glitter Boots

I’m so excited for these DIY glitter boots!! I’ve been wanting to make them for months. Months, I tell you. But I couldn’t find the right boots. I looked at Goodwill, Ross, TJ Maxx, Target, and all over online. I finally found some at Target (part of their new fall boot collection) a few weeks ago. I scooped them up for $34.99. Not super cheap, but they were closer to what I wanted than anything else I’d seen and I knew I had to get them (and hey–Target is having a BOGO sale right now online!) I love how they turned out and I’m excited to show you how to make them!!!
