Hey guys! I’m here today to share a gift guide for those crazy DIYers in your life. They range from budget-friendly to splurge-worthy, but they would all be appreciated by that faithful, I-could-make-that kind of gal.
1. Coloring book
Coloring books for adults are really popular right now and they’ve been proven to reduce stress. Plus, it’s just fun to color. Don’t forget to include colored pencils or pens.
2. Darby Smart subscription
Darby Smart offers a monthly DIY subscription box that sends a mystery DIY. Great for those crafters who love to make all the things.
3. DIY terrarium kit
Give them the supplies so they can make their own terrarium! Buy a pre-made kit or collect your own supplies and make a customized kit just for them. If you need some guidance, check out this post–it’s full of pretty DIY copper and gold terrarium ideas!
Tip: are you crafty yourself? Make a terrarium for your DIYer–they’ll appreciate it! Or if you’re short on time, buy a pre-made terrarium that will match their decor! Growing Home makes beautiful modern terrariums you can find at places like Lowe’s and Safeway.
4. Heidi Swapp Minc Foil Applicator
This one is a splurge, but anyone who loves foil anything will have a blast with this! There are different foil colors available and tons of uses.
5. Accomplishment journal
An accomplishment journal encourages users to write down and celebrate their accomplishments and progress, no matter how small. You can use any kind of journal for this–just add a personalized note! This would be a great gift for a small business owner or DIY/craft blogger.
6. Scissors
Scissors are something every DIYer needs. And they might be too stingy to buy a good pair for themselves (or is that just me?). Good scissors can be affordable or an investment, but they’ll love them no matter what. Look at small embroidery scissors or pinking shears as alternative options.
7. Drill
Drills are good gifts–and if they want one, you’ll know it! You can find a solid, dependable drill for $35-$50.
8. Gift card to a Craft Store
A no brainer. Great stocking stuffer!
9. Big Magic: Creative Living Beyond Fear by Elizabeth Gilbert
You should definitely check with your person before buying this book because they might already have it. It’s wildly popular and for good reason: Elizabeth Gilbert, author of the infamous Eat, Pray, Love, has written a gem for anyone with a creative bone in their body, which is everyone. Lots of wisdom and advice on how to work on thriving creatively and working constructively with fear.
10. Creativity Quote (Wall Art)
There are loads of pretty script wall art out there. Etsy is a good search option, and checking out local craft fairs is always a good choice. If you want something free, check out my free printables here, and then all you need is a frame! You’re welcome.
Good luck with your search! I hope I’ve given you a few ideas. What’s on your Christmas list? Tell me, tell me! xo
