Welcome to Wrap It Wednesday! I’ve been on a black and white kick lately (see last week’s stripes post here) and this week, I’m sharing the ever popular Dalmatian, speckled dots, imperfectly perfect dots design that is everywhere–it seems like it’s a popular choice on powder room walls, which would be fabulous and something I’m thinking about for my own cute little bathroom. That’s another story for another day, though.
TIP: If you’re a paper addict and gift wrap lover, create a Pinterest board that has color combos that jump out to you. You’ll always have ideas at your fingertips!
Inspiration:
I love to use color combos I see in design and fashion and translate them into gift wrap awesomeness. It can really help you create something beautiful if you have some ideas in mind before going to the paper store!
This design is new at Paper Source and I fell in love immediately. You could use if for a variety of DIY projects and be on trend—frame it, use it as wallpaper, decoupage it onto furniture or use it as a backing on shelves. Chic and removable—perfect for renters!
These are traveler’s notebooks that I sell in my shop and the buyer is giving them to her team as birthday gifts, so I wrapped them up and used a festive mini pom trim. It was left over from my pom pom pumpkins I made last fall. Think outside the box and look at the trim section at your local craft store. The trim provides color and texture, and plus, who doesn’t love pom poms?? It worked great to tie a simple knot because I was mailing it and knew a bow wouldn’t travel well.

That’s it for this wrapping installment! Have a wonderful week, and thanks so much for reading! xo
